Back again this year the Silence Day, an event dedicated to street theater organized by the search for theatrical Silence Theater. The Silence Day 2008 will be held in Ashburton on 13 and Sept. 14.
Like every year, renews the appointment with one of the festival's most traditional "the Ferrara Buskers Festival" started Friday August 22 and will end Sunday August 31. The Ferrara Buskers Festival 2008 will be held from August 22-31 in the historic center of Ferrara, with a special evening among the canals and bridges Comacchio to be held Sunday August 24.
The hours of the shows are as follows:
A Ferrara:
- Every day except Sunday: 18.00-19.30 / 21.30-24.00;
- Sunday 24: 17.00-20.00 (only credited with artists and with particular attention paid to the circus disciplines);

In the historic center of Comacchio:
- Sunday 24: 21.30 (with the artists invited).
It is difficult to express in words what has meaning for me to participate - albeit for a short period - in this small, big project. I joined the Silence Theater almost by accident in 2000 and have remained there until 2006. During this time many things have happened and many of these trips that have brought us here and there on the streets and festivals of Europe.
Today I met by chance the director of the company, Luigi Pezzotti. That is why I write today - just today - these two lines to remember the comrades of Silence Theater.
I have neither the time nor the desire to establish an account of my memories, but not hold the record here the two things that I most profoundly impressed that unique experience: the smell and warmth dell'Argilla that blend in entries friends and the feeling that you try mounting lights and sound in a square that anchors retain the heat of summer sun already fallen over the houses, while people passing you look and you speak in a language you do not know.
